How it spread
Trace the originPlogging paired running with litter collection. Beyond the 2018 international press wave, Québec organisers linked a common Earth Day date to a local-group directory and simple walking-or-running instructions. They later reported about 800 participants across the province.
Documented milestone; not a measured attention peak. Dates use the stated precision; chart positions are date anchors.
