How it spread

Trace the origin

Outer Banks launched during lockdown. Viewers copied its clothes and characters on TikTok as its cast gained Instagram followers. Netflix renewed it, promoted product collaborations and staged Poguelandia. Season 3 led its published weekly viewing-hours data.

Observed peak within the documented measurement window; not an all-time maximum. Dates use the stated precision; chart positions are date anchors.
