How it spread

Trace the origin

Newton's dab drew coverage after a confrontation with Titans players. Fans copied it, Clinton performed it on TV, and dab clothing led eBay's Panthers rankings. The Super Bowl ended in defeat; a maker later released a numbered bobblehead.
